Village Baking Co. is where I always want to start my day, picking up an assortment of fresh pastries to enjoy. I would spend the day with friends, enjoying lunch at Jalisco Norte before lounging on a blanket in the Turtle Creek Conservancy park. The TCC park is the jewel of Dallas and offers an incredible natural setting in the core of the city. I would regroup with friends at The Mansion on Turtle Creek Bar for an iconic Dallas experience, the tortilla soup and hamburger are always incredible.

I love starting my morning with a brisk run on the Katy Trail over to Reverchon Park. I would spend the day with my fiancé, enjoying lunch at Al Bernait’s before heading over to Kalita Humphreys Theater to see a show. The Kalita Humphreys Theater is a historic theater in Dallas, Texas and the only theater by architect Frank Lloyd Wright. After the show we would head on over to Cafe Pacific in Highland Park Village, to enjoy their mouthwatering short smoked salmon.

My perfect day in Turtle Creek would start with breakfast at Lucky’s Café, and then I’d take my dogs to the park to play. I would ensure I have reservations at Parigi for lunch before strolling the afternoon away in Highland Park Village. After dinner at Mi Cocina in Highland Park Village, my husband and I would head to Chocolate Secrets for Live Jazz, chocolate and wine

My perfect day in Turtle Creek starts with getting my two sons out for some activity on the Katy Trail. We will stop by Eatzi’s after that to grab some sandwiches for a picnic in the park. For dinner we will go to Glorias with the whole family to enjoy some fajitas and a drink or two.
